Online Homebuyer Education** – CHANGE, Inc. now offers you the option to take your Homebuyer Education Class in the comfort of your own home. Our partnership with eHome America is designed to help you to receive your Housing Counseling Certificate at your convenience. Many people have a difficult time getting to our workshops or have the time to schedule in-person counseling, for reasons such as work schedules or babysitting issues. This online version helps you get the education and certification you need for your selected mortgage product. There is a small fee for this convenience. Register for the class here http://www.ehomeamerica.org/changeinc There will be a short session with a housing counselor at the end of the course prior to obtaining your housing counseling certificate.
The cost for the session is $99.00 and you will asked for the fee on the website as you register for the class.

Author Interviews
Tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon from 3-4 School Library Journal is sponsoring an online interview panel with several award winning authors of Young Adult nonfiction books. The panelists include:
Shane Burcaw—author of Laughing at My Nightmare (Roaring Brook)
Anne Schwartz—VP & Publisher, Schwartz & Wade Books (an imprint of Random House Children’s Books)
Emily Arnold McCully—author of Ida M. Tarbell: The Woman Who Challenged Big Business—and Won! (Clarion)
Steve Sheinkin—author of The Port Chicago 50: Disaster, Mutiny, and the Fight for Civil Rights (Roaring Brook)
Maya Van Wagenen—author of Popular: Vintage Wisdom for a Modern Geek (Dutton)
The authors will discuss their books, their research and writing process, and what makes books engaging to teens.
We have registered for the program and will be projecting the interviews on the large screen in our Activity Room. Anyone who is interested in YA literature and would like to join us is welcome.
