Weiss Ratings rates Banks according to their financial stability, using factors such as capitalization, asset quality, profitability, liquidity, and stability, along with details about each company.  Reports can be created showing one bank over time, or comparing several different banks. The same information is shown for Credit Unions. Similar factors are used to rate insurance companies. 

If you're into investing, Weiss Ratings also examines Stocks, Mutual Funds, and Exchange Rated Funds. Investments are given a letter grade as well as a suggestion to buy, hold or sell. Investments can be searched for or screened according to specific criteria and their performance can be examined for various lengths of time. Users can create their own watchlist.
